Our Journey

ADF was founded in response to the urgent need for social and economic reform in Northern Nigeria. Our vision is to create a peaceful and prosperous society. Through our dedicated efforts, we have developed and implemented various programs that address the root causes of social and economic challenges, focusing on education, youth rehabilitation, economic empowerment, and the promotion of ethical conduct.

Who We Are

Al-Ummah Development Foundation (ADF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering sustainable socio-economic reform and development in Northern Nigeria. Since our inception in March 2008 and official registration in July 2009, we have been committed to transforming lives and communities through innovative programs and initiatives.

Our Mission

Our mission is to engender ethical conduct, promote progress and productivity, and establish a platform for peace and mutual advancement among people of all religions and races. We strive to build a morally conscious society where every individual can thrive and contribute positively to their community.

Our Vision

We envision a reformed and progressive Northern Nigeria where every person has the opportunity to live a life of dignity, purpose, and prosperity. Our goal is to create a region characterized by peace, economic stability, and social justice.

Our Objectives

- Educational Transformation: Revolutionize the traditional Tsangaya learning system by integrating Islamic education with Western education and vocational training.

- Youth Rehabilitation and Employment: Engage and rehabilitate under-educated and unemployed youths through comprehensive vocational training programs.

- Promoting Ethical Conduct: Foster a value-conscious Muslim society committed to ethical behavior.

- Fostering Peace and Reconciliation: Build platforms for mutual understanding and advancement among different religious and ethnic groups.

RADICAL YOUTH CARE AND REFORM (RADYCARE)

A comprehensive initiative designed to rehabilitate and reintegrate idle youths into productive society. Key components include:

Welfare Support:

Providing meals, medical care, and transportation.

Rehabilitation Therapy:

Addressing substance abuse issues.

Guidance and Counseling:

Instilling positive values and attitudes.

Vocational Training:

Offering literacy, computer skills, and technical training.

Housing Scheme:

Enabling participants to build and own low-cost houses.

Collective Wedding:

Supporting graduates in establishing families.
